Clinic Tour, Part 1
Come on in!
Join us for a tour of the inside of Riverside Life Services. We’ll start with the tangible items given by generous donors that God uses to meet the needs of women, babies, and families who come to our clinic.
One of the most obvious needs for moms and their babies is diapers and wipes. Just across the hallway from where moms can see their babies for the first time on ultrasound is the Diaper Room. From the doorway of this storage room, diapers can be seen from floor to ceiling and from corner to corner. Wipes are neatly stacked on several shelves. This is a visual representation of God’s provision and donors’ generosity.
Diapers by the Stats
Riverside Life Services stores diapers up to size 7, as well as Pull Ups. Last year, we gave out over 1,950 packages of diapers!
At the end of the hallway, just beyond the Diaper Room and the Ultrasound Room, is yet another example of how God has supplied Riverside Life Services abundantly so we can bless moms and babies in need. Warm and welcoming wooden doors open up to the Boutique where clients can shop with credit earned from attending classes at the clinic. There, they will find baby clothing of all sizes, maternity clothes, shoes and accessories, toys, books, and other baby items. All of these are donated and then cared for and curated by volunteers.
Plenteous Provisions
The items in the boutique are creatively curated so that moms have plenty to choose from. We are so thankful for our volunteers who make this shopping experience possible for the moms in our clinic!
90% of women who get an ultrasound at Riverside Life Services choose to carry their babies. Every mom who decides to keep her baby receives a gift from RLS—a homemade blanket and hat crafted with care by volunteers.
Handmade with Love
Each hat, blanket, and pair of booties is made with love by women willing to give of their time and resources to bless the clients at Riverside Life Services. These women are a blessing to RLS and the moms who receive this sweet gift!
